Garment Care Guide

Following the instruction outlines on your garments care for tag is an important step in ensuring that your new articles of clothing keep their original shape, colour and texture. All of our products either feature a care for tag stitched into the inside seam, or directly printed into the neck label when applicable. 

These are some quick tips regarding garment care that we feel are worth reading:

  • Always hang crewneck sweaters or t-shirts with a properly sized hanger to prevent wrinkles, stretching or damage to your garments.
  • If hanging them is not an option, then fold the garment neatly creating creases near the seams to prevent wrinkles.
  • Wash all crewnecks and t-shirts inside-out to lessen the wear on the outer layer of the garment. 
  • NEVER rip out a tag that has been sewn into a garment. If you feel that the tag needs to be removed, use a pair of scissors to cut the tag at its base. Ripping or tearing a tag can result in unwanted damage to your clothing.

Here is a detailed breakdown of the proper methods for washing and caring for your garments in accordance with their applicable care tags. 

 Understanding the symbols used on your tags:


CREWNECK SWEATER TAG (located inside the lower left had seem)

Washing symbol: Wash in domestic or commercial machine in water not exceeding 30°C, at normal setting Wash in domestic or commercial machine in water not exceeding 30 Degrees Celsius at a normal setting.
Bleaching symbol: Do not bleach Do not bleach.
Drying symbol: Tumble dry at low heat (not exceeding 55°C) at permanent press setting Tumble dry with a low heat (not exceeding 55 Degrees Celsius) at permanent press settings.
Ironing/pressing symbol: Do not iron or press Do not iron or press printed areas.

Bleaching symbol: Use only non-chlorine bleach when needed Use only a no-chlorine bleach when needed.
